Did Coastal Community Bank acquire GreenFi?

Yes. Coastal Community Bank - GreenFi’s longtime banking partner and host of our bank accounts - has acquired ownership of the GreenFi brand of climate-friendly banking products. Mission Financial Partners will continue to operate and market GreenFi banking products to our customers.

What does this mean for me as a GreenFi customer?

There are no changes for customers. Your account, services, terms, digital experience, and customer support all remain the same, and will continue to be supported through Coastal Community Bank.

Do I need to take any action?

No. No action is required at this time.

Will my account or access change?

No. Your account access, features, and how you use GreenFi remain unchanged. Specifically,

  • Your account and debit card numbers remain the same.

  • You can continue to use your existing debit card and checks

  • You don’t need to make any changes to existing direct deposits or scheduled transfers

  • There will be no changes in how you access your investment account(s)

Is my money still safe and insured?

Yes. GreenFi accounts continue to be provided through Coastal Community Bank, a regulated financial institution, and remain FDIC insured up to $1 million through Coastal’s sweep network, subject to applicable rules and program terms.

Is Mission Financial Partners still involved with GreenFi?

Yes. Mission Financial Partners will continue to operate and market the GreenFi program and provide access to sustainable investment options, including the Redwood Fund.

Will GreenFi’s products or mission change?

GreenFi’s current products and mission remain unchanged. GreenFi will continue to operate as it does today.

Why did Coastal acquire the GreenFi brand?

The acquisition builds on a longstanding partnership and allows Coastal to provide long-term stewardship of the GreenFi brand while maintaining flexibility for future growth.

Will customer data or privacy practices change?

No. GreenFi’s existing privacy practices and policies remain in place.
